This was a goal of mine for 2019. I have to be honest, I don’t wake up at 5 am every single day, but for the majority of the week, I do. When I first started this, I noticed it took me a while to get my body used to it. Since I started this new routine in the Winter, the sun would only raise at around 7:15 am, so it was hard for me to be 100% alert. Once I got used to it, I realized the impact it had on me, and I promise you, it is worth it to wake up at 5 am.
Here are the benefits of waking up at 5 am.
Due to waking up so early, I noticed my productivity levels increased. You have more hours to achieve whatever you had planned for the day, and since you get up early, you have the time to do more things.
2. ”Me time”
One of my favourite things is getting more of “me time”. I get to spend time reading, catching up on episodes of TV Series or writing down my thoughts while drinking my cup of coffee… it’s such a peaceful moment!
3. Improves your self-esteem
Since I started this, I honestly feel like I’m ready to take over the world! I have time to finish everything I set for that day, it makes me feel accomplished.
4. You’ll feel less stressed
I’m less stressed about everything. This happens because I’m aware that I have the time to take care of myself and do well at my job. I’m no longer rushing everything.
These were the main benefits I’ve noticed since starting this new habit. I hope this post inspires you to try a new routine.
