We all look for ways to save money so we can buy things that will add happiness to our lives. Spending money on our household is unavoidable, but in this post, I’ll be sharing with you a few tips that will help help you save money on your household.

1.Budget and Plan

First of all, you need to be aware of how much you can spend on your household expenses! Also, don’t forget to plan what you need to buy. Staying organised will help you save money. I have really cute planners that include everything you need to keep track of your budgets, expenses, bills, savings, shopping lists, etc. I’ll leave them down below if you’re interested.

2. Buy reusable cleaning cloths
This will save you a lot of money. You’ll just have to put them in the washer once you’re done using them and it’s beneficial for the environment!

3. Figure out when it’s cheaper to do your laundry
Depending on the time of the day that you’re doing your laundry, you’ll be able to save energy and money. Just check your contract.

4. Buy your supplies only on sale
Get your supplies when they’re on sale, there are amazing deals, and it will make you save so much money!

5. Have a little stack at home
This tip goes along with the previous one. When they’re on sale, instead of getting just one, get a couple and have a little stack of them. You’ll pay less for all of the products, and you won’t have to worry about it every month.

6. Make some supplies yourself
If you have the time, then you should definitely give this one a go! There are so many recipes online. They’re quite easy to make, and I love making them, especially all-purpose sprays. This will save you a lot of money, and it’s really good for your health and the environment.

Save Money on Grocery Shopping

Grocery shopping is something we all have to do, some people love others hate it but one thing everyone has in common is not wanting to spend a lot of money on it and if possible, save money! So, in today’s post, I’ll be sharing with you the most important tips I use to save money whenever I go grocery shopping.

1.Make a Budget

This is crucial. Knowing exactly how much you can spend on groceries will help you save so much money.

2. Make a Inventory

This might sound a bit crazy but trust me, it’s really helpful. Write down every single product you have. Make different lists: a food list (don’t forget to check the expiration date!), a hygiene list, a household list and a medicine list (again, check the dates).

3. Plan your Meals

Planning your meals will help you decrease the habit of buying unnecessary products. You’ll go to the shops knowing exactly what you need for your meals. I like to plan my meals weekly.

4. Make a Shopping List

Writing down everything you need will help you save money because you won’t buy what you don’t need.

5. Buy in Bolk and freeze

This is a great way to save money because you won’t be going to the shops frequently to buy fruit and veggies, that way, you won’t be tempted to buy things you actually don’t need. Also, this really good to make smoothies and soup!

All of these steps can be done with the help of a planner. Feel free to check these ones out: Money Planner (A5), Money Planner (A4), Personal Finance Planner (A4).

1. Make an inventory

2. Plan out your meals
Write down all your lunch ideas, dinner recipes and snacks that you’d normally have throughout the month/week, depending on the shopping list you’re making (a weekly or a monthly one).

See the expiring date of the remaining coupons. If they’re close to the end, you might want to buy the products on it, doing so you’ll be saving money and making the most out of the existing coupons.
